Praying Mantis

Mantis sp.

Description:

A medium-sized Praying Mantis with green abdomen and legs and brown thorax. Not sure about the exact species, the mantis species are spread all over the world, and the most common species is Mantis religiosa, however the brown thorax does not match, so it got to be a variation

Habitat:

Dry and wet habitats all over the world

Notes:

This species is obviously a direct variation of the European Mantis (Mantis religiosa) the only thing that separates this species with M. Religiosa is its brown thorax, perhaps it's a hermafrodite, that would make sense.
