Growing in cold, shady swamps and bogs. These were on a pond inlet that was boggy. This plant's white floral spathe resembles that of the popular white calla lilies of southern Africa. flower-covered spadix, knobby, yellow, at base of open white spathe. leaves heart-shaped.
