The larvae of Pareuchaetes insulata is black with sparse black hairs, and rows of red and white spots.

Habitat:

Spotted on vegetation in a wooded area.

Notes:

The larvae feed on various plants, including Chromolaena odorata, Ageratum species and Hernandia sonora.
