Juvenile Bald Eagle perching on a snag above a bald eagle nest. I don't think it made that nest, though, being a juvenile. I was observing a Northern Hawk Owl (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/25...) perching on this snag, but when the eagle came in for a landing, the owl departed. You can see in photos 2 and 3 when the eagle spotted me, as it kept moving its head to see around the stick to get a better look at me.
Large Black Cottonwood snag with a bald eagle nest on it. Outside of town where only a few homes are.
