Roth's Tree Frog

Litoria rothi

Description:

About 6-7 cm in body length. There are yellow & black markings on the rear foot & in the folds of his back legs that can be seen more readily in the second picture. I didn't hang around to get any more shots as I used a flash for these & felt I'd disturbed him enough.

Habitat:

I found this frog late at night on one of the buildings at work. It was about a metre & a half off the ground. There were many bugs around, attracted to the lights of the camp at night time. There are also dams & bushland close by.

No problem! Australia has a fantastic website for IDing herps, it's very helpful! Good thing you were able to get a little bit of the inner thigh pattern because this guy has nothing else distinguishing about him haha

Thanks so much for the ID Ashley! I'm sure I checked that sight but didn't see this. It all becomes a blur :) Thank you!
