Green bug with transparent wings and very large antennae. About 20 mm long.
Semi desert.

I agree with Chun. This is a species of Tree Cricket. This one is a male. They are in Subfamily Oecanthinae. I am not sure of the species in your area though. I have a couple of his relatives here:http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/159...http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/159...
Must be a Cricket.... or Katydid.... Narrow winged.
This is called a Tree Cricket.It is quite amazing how they sing by beating their wings together.
Now that you mention it Ashish, it looks something like a lacewing.
