Tree Trunk Spider

Description:

A Hersiliidae spider which failed to camouflage itself on this tree bark. It made a mistake by moving onto the patch of lichen which blows its cover, revealing the spider. Habitat:

On the tree trunk surface of a Sepetir Tree (Sindora beccariana), the third tree linked to the Maliau Skybridge, Maliau Basin Study Center.

Notes:

It has already been a custom for me to search for Hersiliids every forest area I go. >>>Map accuracy : 5km diameter.
