Description:

Larger than the Red breasted Nuthatch and lacking the eye stripe the range of these two birds seem to overlap in this area. Both are energetic attractive birds that resemble each other. The gray color of the White Breasted is a deeper gray.

Habitat:

Open areas that have numerous and well spaced trees
