Wingspan about 50 mm.

Habitat:

Large field of paddy cultivation. This butterfly was however, spotted in the garden of the farmhouse. Warm to hot and swampy place. Altitude: below 1,000 m.

Notes:

This beautiful butterfly was spotted in the garden of the homestay that we, father and son, had put up on the way back home from Kathmandu.
