At first glance I thought it might be an Emperor Gum Moth (Opodiphthera eucalypti) however I think Dan has it correct with Polyphemus moth
(Antheraea polyphemus) both belong to the family Saturniidae...!

It is in pretty rough shape but still a great moth! This should be in the Arthropods category, not Other.
