This is a purple & green flower.


I found it growing in my backyard in Middle TN. I've lived here almost 20 years & have never seen a flower like it.


The flower is very pretty & caught my eye immediately. It's in several stages of development, with some just blooming while others were in full bloom. Would love to know what it is. It has a seed pod attached to the plant & my husband called it a wild apricot. I don't know
