Eurema hecabe hecabe
Updated ID to Eurema hecabe hecabe (Linnaeus, 1758), the Common Grass Yellow, which has a confirmed occurrence in Luzon. Former ID: Eurema andersonii (Moore, 1886), called One-spot Grass Yellow, is a small butterfly of the Family Pieridae. It is relatively common and extensively distributed from northern India and China, through Thailand and Malaysia, to Indonesia and the Philippines (Calamian, Palawan). Based on these widespread records, the area of occupancy (AOO) is considerably greater than 2,000 km2, while the extent of occurrence (EOO) spans several million km2.
