Two-striped Jumper Spider (male)

Description:

Attractively coloured. The male is very dark, with white markings.White band on abdomen dorsal surface that bifurcates further up. White, solid circle on head. It has an alert way of looking at you or the camera...I find its (all jumping spiders)attitude very intelligent.

Habitat:

Backyard on a papaya plant. Been there a few weeks now. have not seen the female yet.

Notes:

Harmless spider despite Internet hoaxes to the contrary. Sexually dimorphic species.
