Brown Anole ( Molting )

Description:

At 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon, I spotted one reptile, resting on the outside of the right front window. After I spotted this reptile, I grabbed my camera, went outside, and I then took some photos of this reptile. This reptile, is a brown anole. This reptile is ( molting ) - ( shedding ). Shedding: Brown anoles, molt in small pieces, unlike some other reptiles, which molt in one large piece. Anoles, may consume the molted skin, to replenish supplies of calcium. Anoles, do not ( molt ), shed there skin on a regular basis, but do so in response to growing larger, which depends on how much and how often they eat. Habitat:

The range of the brown anole in the eastern United States, includes all of peninsular Florida. The brown anole, has been described as a habitat generalist, that generally prefers open vegetation within disturbed sites, and urbanized areas. It spends most of its time on the ground or on trees, at trunk level, up to several feet off the ground.

Notes:

I spotted this reptile, resting on the right front window, of my house. This reptile, was also in the process of shedding its skin.
