The largest land mammal of North America this herd of bison were found foraging the grasses along the highway. Both male, female and young were apart of this small herd that find their home in the Northern Boreal Forest.

Thanks Tukup, they are quite something to see roaming around.
What a sight. We witnessed a similar herd of plains bison here at a wildlife park. I had to read again to see what the difference was. Magnificent beasts Greg..
