Mucronella pendula
These single spines with pointed tips look like tiny icicles and, like icicles, they drip a watery substance from the tips. The translucent white fruit-bodies are attached to the wood by a short white stem. The watery texture of this coral might cause it to be mistaken for a jelly, but none of the jellies produce pendulous fruit-bodies.Length to 25 mm, diameter at base to 10 mm, tapering downward to a point; shaped like icicles or spear-heads; pure white to translucent with bluish tint, yellowing with age; watery, liquefying when old.
In the hollow ends or on the underside of large, fallen, rotting tree-trunks in wet forests
