Ocrisiona jovialis (f)
Small stout spider. !cm or less. The specimen I saw all flickered their palyps as though testing the air. Gold markings on the abdomen and reddish legs. Very stocky, crab-like front legs
This is a crevice spider normally found in bark, among rocks and in cracks in walls of buildings. They probably need some foliage within range.
These seem to be a major prey item for Holoplatys. The name was changed from Breda jovialis in 2013 according to R, Whyte (Arachne web site)

Aha! I thought that might happen with all that talk about it being the same one only in Brazil. Someone has done some work on it. Thanks for the notification.
This has been revised. The genus changed from Breda j to Ocrisiona j. this year. Also the name Jovial Jumping Spider is now in use
Yes, the local ones are much like this although they may be the same genetic stock (are) yes we are in NSW along the coast
Good find. The abdomen pattern varies somewhat on these.. I suspect with location in Aust. ??
