Lava or Galapagos Heron (juvenile)

@sarahaw1981. Thanks for your comment. The sea lion photo was only put in the spotting to try and get an ID of the Island. That being achieved, I have now removed it.

@Charles Darwin Foundation. Thanks... yes, all the spottings on 29 May would have been Española. I will add that as I post the other spottings. When I have animals spotted on 2 or more different islands (e.g. Land iguanas) do you want me to add them as separate spottings?

And, yes, it is the Lava or Galapagos Heron, Butorides striata sundevalli.

The red on the Marine Iguanas seems to indacate that this is on Española..

Please make the bird and the sea-lions sightings in their own right!!
