Hi Geoffrey . I would highly recommend a trip to Cuba .I stayed in the hotel grounds for the whole week ,and there was always something to see .The people were great ,the sun was out and the birds were singing, lots of butterflies also .I stayed in Sol y Luna Mares hotel ,Guadalavaca ,on All-inclusive ,the grounds include a large lagoon .Best time to visit December-February .There are loads more Endemics in the west of Cuba ,but the hotels are more basic.
