Tropical House Cricket

Gryllodes sigillatus

Description:

Brown, black and white cricket, body length is around 25-30 mm. This specimen is a female(notice the egg laying "stinger" eminating from its abdomen).

Habitat:

Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.

Notes:

Noticed that wikipedia sized it to 13-18 mm, this one was way larger and have been seeing several large specimens in this area. Subspecies or another species perhaps?
