Prominent crest on head and a white cheek. Typical bulbul shaped body.
Namchi town. A cyclonic circulation had led to over two days of incessant rain; suddenly there was a lull. We went on a walk and this bird came out to dry itself. It was still dull and misty...sunlight would have given a crisper photo but I was glad to have seen this bird. We do not see this species in the plains.
