Can only get photos of ventral and side. Body is over an inch long.
It is spinning a web between 2 shrubs on side of garage about 2-3 feet off the ground.
Their webs are usually characterized by a zigzag shaped stabilimentum (an extra thick line of silk) in the middle extending vertically. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argiope_au...)
