Leaf Beetle

Ditropidus sp.

Description:

A very small beetle (about 3 mm long) with glossy elytra and slightly rounded thorax. Legs were brown and tarsi had white edged pads.

Habitat:

Spotted in a small cluster onyoung eucalyptus leaves - nature reserve.

Notes:

A Chrysomelid beetle from the subfamily Cryptocephalinae. My thanks to Jason Mate for the ID.
