Description:

They are small, isopods that roll up like an armadillo if threatened.The bugs are very common.These ones were found under some broken wood.PIll bugs like these areas because they are major decomposers in a ecosystems.

Habitat:

Under a wood plank eating the dead material.

Notes:

Other names include roly poly, and wood louse

Armadillidium vulgare doesn't have a nose like Armadillidium nasatum and is much more common in Fort Worth - see
