Lycium carolinianum
Small purple, 4-petal flowers; small red fruit; thin, rounded leaves; woody stems. The stems were covered in lichens, so these were fairly mature plants despite their short height. Most of the plants were 3 foot tall or less
Near coastal marsh on a dry area.
