Spotted Tortoise Beetle

Aspidimorpha miliaris

Description:

Clear, transparent exoskeleton divided into two (2) plates by a yellow line at the middle. Head part of the transparent exoskeleton at the posterior is separate plate; resembles like a beetle. Has patterned black spots at the back and yellow stripes at the side. Actual body seems to be under the exoskeleton. Has two antennas with black coloration at the ends.

Habitat:

Grassy area; Plant foliage

Notes:

Stays super still; It almost seem to not move for the whole duration. ~Speical thanks to arne.roysland for the ID!
