Yes, I was thinking Sulfur Shelf too. I wonder what they call them in Queensland? My Book of Fungi by Roberts and Evans does not show Sulfer Shelf or Chicken of the Woods, Laetiporus sulphureus- in Australia at all, but it must be a related species.

Its Laetiporous species, one of what people lump together as chicken of the woods or Laetiporous sulphureus. Im not farmiliar with which ones occur in Australia.
