Parasola plicatilis
Small saprophytic mushroom with a plicate (pleated) cap. These mushrooms look like tiny umbrellas. Caps are 0.5 – 1.5 inches in diameter, ovoid becoming slightly convex and then flat.
Widely distributed in Europe and North America. Found in grassy areas either alone or in small groups, usually in sunny areas.
