Speckled Wood Butterfly

Description:

Brown medium sized butterfly with white and black spots, wingspan of about 5 cm, one black ring with a white dot in the middle towards the outer tip of the fore-wing and three rings on the rear end of both hind-wings with the outer third ring not having a white spot in the middle.

Habitat:

Leaf forest, dense under-vegetation along a dirt road, farmland.
