Pyramid lily

Ornithoglossum seineri

Description:

the dense pyramidal inflorescence of this lily is about 20 to 25cms tall.

Habitat:

open sandy bush area towards Limpopo but not restricted to riversides as can be seen in many flat, open areas in the bush following a good rain storm

Notes:

Pyramid lily is my name for this plant, not sure whether anyone else calls it this. These plants are growing in Botswana.
