Spotting

Description:

I raised this moth from what I thought was the caterpillar of a cabbage white butterfly. When this emerged, it was quite a surprise!

Habitat:

The caterpillar was eating my tomato plants in the garden, Tijuana, Baja California

Thanks guys! Bonoboprime I just used an old sweetjar with a cloth to cover it and added a few drops of water every other day. It emerged within a week but I don't know how long it had been in the garden....

I've been wanting to do the same thing! What type of enclosure did you keep it in and how long did it take? Amazing picture by the way.
