Description:

The most common deer species in North America, the white tail is often hunted for sport and food. An adult male weighs around 150 pounds and the female weighs 100. They have a light brown coat with a tan underbelly. The young deer (fawns) have spots.

Habitat:

Northern American woods, grasslands.
