Common house gecko

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

This small gecko has a sandy brown color and a striped tail. It had a pointed head and golden irises.

Habitat:

This gecko was on a wall near lights at night.

Notes:

These geckos are able to climb and run around nimbly on smooth vertical surfaces, and therefore are easily adapted to an urban life.
