Acanalonia bivittata
From Nature Search: This planthopper is about 1/4 inch long in its mature state and resembles a green leaf. It is identified to species by the two reddish-brown edges of its wings (A,B) and its red eyes. The nymph is even smaller (C,D,E). Both adults and nymphs feed on the juices of various plants; the nymph produces the waxy filaments shown in images "C","D" and "E" from excess water.
Lurking on my sunflower stalk in the garden. :)
