Description:

Rotifers are microscopic aquatic animals. Its name refers to the crown of cilia surrounding the mouth of these animals. They have a ciliated epidermis.

Habitat:

Fresh water; puddles

Notes:

In photos: -1st: A female rotifer coupled to a lettuce leaf. -2nd: In the center, the more "rounded" are male rotifers. The "long" is a female rotifer. The "slippers" are euglenas. -3rd: Above, a female rotifer. Bottom right, male rotifers. The remaining euglenas and "unknown attackers" -4th: One male rotifer in the center.
