Accipiter sp.
Hawk
Woodland surrounded by pastures.
The Hawk flew into the glass wall of my sunroom. It flew off and appeared to be okay, although it was stunned for a few minutes.
I'm glad I wasn't a rabbit, too, Alice. When it took off so suddenly, it came right at me!
I'm sorry, Liam. I wasn't able to get any other angles. It all happened so quickly. Thank you for the suggestions; they are very helpful.
Any other angles? Accipiter sp., either Cooper's or Sharp-shinned Hawk. Tough to make a call from this shot alone, though.
I am glad I am not a rabbit. Piercing eyes!
