Aramides saracura
The saracura of the woods is a gruiform bird of the family Rallidae . It differs from other rails for having having a color blue-gray in her womb, and on his head and neck.
It is found in forests and woodlands, preferring coastal wetlands and floodplains and is often difficult to see.
Clutches are avidly consumed by saracuras, as noted in the species Slaty-breasted Wood-Rail (Aramides saracura), which feeds on the eggs of the Filomedusa frog (Phyllomedusa distincta).
