If you got peanuts it will take half the time lol, I have a whole flock at my place that just loves me, every time i go outside they line up on the branch and take turns flying down to my hand, while chickin' and chirpin.
Wow! Thanks for sharing the experience, Susan. I tried that once two, and one flew right on to my hand and flew away. I have to do that more often. Maybe I could create a bond! :) I can imagine how thrilled you were, I was too!
I once read that the Black-capped Chickadee could be enticed to feed from your hand, if given enough time to trust you. I thought it was not true but decided to try it myself and much to my surprise within 20 minutes of standing very close to the bird feeder while holding some feed in the hand of my extended arm a cute little Black-capped chickadee landed for just the second it took to take a sunflower seed. I was thrilled.

Thank you so much, Gerardo. It took me a bit to sneak up on this one. :-)
