Description:

...A monster from the abyss... To 27 cm(10 3/4 in.). White to pale gray with reddish brown to charcoal spots, also blotches and reticulations. Two wide bars on side. Large rounded head with upturned mouth. Small eyes.

Habitat:

Solitary, bury in sand. Coastal waters in 5 to at least 50 m. Asian Pacific.
