Description:

A low growing sagebrush that only grows in or very near the channeled scablands in eastern Washington and parts on northern Idaho. It thrives in very poor soil or rocky conditions, where other plants cannot survive. Extreme heat in the summer and very cold temps in winter with a relentless wind that often exceeds 40 mph.

Spotted in scablands of eastern Washington.
