It is a very unique color. Maybe you should have kept it. (I know... I don't like to cage things up or disturb them either.)

Great shots... Looking at it rear, it makes me think of a Fork-tailed species.

@kittuandme : Ur link is correct..But ID (scientific name) is general refers to order of insects with paurometabolous...So do u hav any idea about specific ID?
