Description:

Pink Tailed Chalceus: Very active and is always moving, the Pink Tail chalceus is a large predator and should be kept with other large fish. In their home waters they have been seen jumping out of the water in pursuit of insects. Fish-Base: In the aquarium, it is suitable for an appropriately sized community tank, being peaceful to most other fish. However, large individuals of this fish are territorial and may be somewhat aggressive to its own kind.

Habitat:

Pink Tailed Chalceus: Distribution in the Amazon FishBase: It is found in the wild in fast-flowing rivers as well as in flooded areas.
