Heliotropium europaeum

Description:

Grass up to 50 cm, annual, more or less silky. Erect or ascending stems, simple or branched from the base, more or less seríceous, with appressed hairs of different sizes, the longest up to 1 mm, somewhat patent on the veins on the underside. It has several small white flowers that are grouped together to form a kind of scorpion's tail, hence its common name.

Habitat:

In an area near the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, also in dry terrain, roadsides, cultivated fields and in rough environments.
