Click Beetle Larva

Elateridae

Description:

Slender, yellow and brown with a hard(ish) body. Fairly fast moving for a larva. Also called "wireworms". Most feed on seeds, plants and roots (per Bugguide).

Habitat:

Suburban backyard garden. Found in the soil when weeding.

Notes:

Seems to match with other Click Beetle Larvae. It might not be possible to get a species on this one.
