Green Anole

Anolis carolinensis

Description:

This is a anole native to the southeastern United States.This is a arboreal anole lizard with common names such as the American green anole, American anole, and red throated anole.This anole changes colors for what it can be camouflaged in.This species of anole likes to hide behind bushes or pipes, usually around houses.This species has very good eye sight to spot it's prey.

Habitat:

It can be found in swamps, forests, wooded beaches and other areas with trees. It may also be found in parks and yards.

Notes:

It's tail was detached at one point, but it grew back over time, of what I observed.
