Photo take at -40 ft on a coral reef, this is a very young colony attach to the reef whit green and brown colors.Colonies are thicker forming thick top-shaped plates, Valleys and ridges are deep and narrow, long and meandering and may become irregular in older colonies. They branch and align across the colonies as much as they radiate out from the centre towards the edges. Colours are variable, dark brown or green in low light, with ridges often lighter than valleys.
