Did you see I also got a Red necked Grebe? It's in Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. That completes all the Grebes in the bay area.

it is somewhere in the big pond between Winton and the hayward shoreline interpretive center. An escapee from when Marine World use to be in Redwood City. There were reports of 3 Chiliean Flamingos in the bay area.

No Hayward Shoreline. They fly toward Don Edwards and then come back again. I even saw a Golden Eagle but it was too far to take a shot of it. Did you hear there is a Flamingo in Hayward Shoreline? I don't have a scope so I can't see it.

Other then the Red tail and the Kestral, I have a hard time getting their shots. As you can tell by the grainy pictures they were far. I would snap some shots and move toward them and snap some more until if flies away. There is a shoreline park I go to and once in awhile I turn to look because most of these birds fly north to south and swing around. The other day I turned just as one flew past me at almost my height off the ground and about 5ft from me. I was so shocked I didn't have time to ready my camera. Then I looked back and another one flew past me really close and my jaw dropped. I could just kick myself.
