thanks for the comment; to get the milk flowing I try and break the gills a little bit. It might be possible to snap the gills in places by bending the cap a little bit, I think this is what I did on this spotting. Breaking part of the cap off works too. It seems for a lot of Lactarius the milk tastes spicy but I might have forgotten to taste this one!

Great Rat.tumour aka lipase,do you cut the gills so we can see the milk?or is the milk fluing himself,i ask you this because i never see milk drops on any lactrius :-) and i can began to make a cut to so the id could be more exact
