Pneumatopteris pennigera
Native ferns Pneumatopteris pennigera, in a forest clearing in Lewis Pass, covered with hoar frost.
Thank you, dear Dane :D
Thanks, And you have a lovely mourning
You're welcome, have a nice evening :)
Very interesting, thanks for the info
In NZ, hoar frost is the kind of frost wich forms white ice crystals, on the ground, objects or plants, after a clear but freezing cold winter night...I think elsewhere in the world they call it "air hoar", or "radiation frost".
What is hoar frost anyway?
Thank you dear @DaneCole, they're amazing :)
Tough and beautiful, thank you dear @Argy Bee :)
