Tailed Jay

Graphium agamemnon

Description:

Very attractive butterfly coloured green and black.Very swift and restless on the wing.

Habitat:

In a residential colony, just outside a cooperative store. On a road in the colony. It was mud puddling...I clicked a few before realizing I had no memory card in my camera. Most surprisingly, it gave me enough time to reload my camera. For a butterfly that does not stick around for even a couple of seconds on a flower it kept mud puddling for long minutes. Lucky for me.

Thank you Riyan...it is good to see you are back.

I love the pattern of the green and black spots on its wing.
